Nora's Welcome Video

We made this little video for Nora documenting her grand entrance into the world and thought we'd share it - enjoy!

She laughed!

Nora has started smiling on purpose for the past few days, which has been a lot of fun for us! Then last night when we were getting ready to change into pjs, she laughed! Ok, so it's more like a big smile with a coo, but it counts in our book! :)

We had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa "S" and Great-Grandma Rice. They fell in love with Nora, of course, and she really seemed to like spending time with them. So, after having lots of fun with grandparents over the past week, it's back to "normal" around here. We hope you're all doing well! We love you!

So, it's taken us a few days to catch up with posting pictures... can't imagine why?! :) But, here we go - it's been a fun week!

Nora has a belly button! At just 1 week old, that yucky umbilical cord stump fell off and soon after, she had her first full bath - which she LOVED. Here's a picture of her all cozy and all clean!


Grandma and Grandpa "B" came back to visit for the weekend and we had a good time with them. Here's a picture with Grandma from this visit. Somehow we didn't get a picture with Grandpa, so we're posting one from the hospital. :)


Abby and Aengus had a great time playing during this visit too! Here is a picture of one of their rare "fight" breaks.


Go Bills!! Nora experienced her first Bills game - a disappointing last second loss... get used to it Nora, it's not easy being a Bills fan! Here are a couple of pictures of her in her Buffalo Bills onesie :)



Grandma and Grandpa "S" and Great-Grandma Rice are coming in from NY this weekend to meet Nora and visit for a few days. We're all very excited!!

Yikes, here it comes!

1st well-baby visit!

Nora had her first well-baby check-up at the pediatrician yesterday. She's growing well!! When she was born, she weighed 8lbs 7oz - when we left the hospital she was 7lbs 10oz... Stacie's milk came in that day and yesterday at 8 days old she weighed 8lbs 12oz!! The nurses were impressed that she's already getting little baby fat rolls. :)

Hi all!
