Happy Spring!
Happy Spring, everyone!!
Nora's been busy over the last couple of weeks!!
She started survival swim lessons last weekend! The first class went pretty well, though Nora was very sleepy and so didn't respond all that positively. She got dunked a few times and learned to hold onto the wall. We're hoping to get her a short nap before class this weekend, which should make it more fun for everyone! :)
She has learned to crawl, for real now!
She was satisfied with that for all of 1 day and now she's pulling up on furniture and standing without the help of mom and dad! Yikes!!
She's doing great with eating solids and likes everything she's tried so far! She has started having "breakfast" at school everyday and she sometimes has "dinner" with us in the evenings. She has also graduated to her "bigger" girl car seat - such a big girl!

6 month check-up!
Nora had her 6-month check-up today. Here are her current stats:
Weight - 15lbs. 13oz (41%ile)
Height - 25.75 inches (44%ile)
Head - 17 inches (67%ile)
She did great at the appointment, though she was all over the table! She was trying to grab everything and now that she can move in most directions, she could pretty much get to whatever she wanted. She tried to "help" Dr. Newman listen to her heart and lungs (adorable!), type on her computer, hold the light to look in her ears, etc. She was proud to show Dr. Newman how sharp her teeth are on the bottom when she gnawed on her finger! (Yes, Nora's bottom teeth are finally breaking through a little bit!) She got 2 shots and took them like a champ! Big pout with the second one, but she got over it without a tear! Yey, Nora! :)
Brad's in Orlando this week for the ASLO conference and Nora and I miss him a lot! He's doing well there, though, and we're looking forward to seeing him in a couple of days! Nora has some tricks to show him when he gets back! She's been really practicing her crawling at daycare and she's getting so much stronger already! She got up on her hands and knees tonight and "rocked" - wow! Time to baby-proof!
