So much going on!

Well, it's been a while again... sorry! We've got lots to share, though!!

We took a trip to DC/Virginia over Memorial Day weekend to check out the area and look at houses. Whew, what a trip! It was quick and we saw 18-20 houses over the 2 days... and still didn't find anything! Timing-wise we're going to need to rent for a little while when we get there anyway, so we decided to wait on looking at houses since the market moves so quickly there. Nora did great on the trip and had more patience than we did, actually! She was a trooper! Here is a picture of her in the plane on the way home.

Nora's doing great and is finally out of daycare for the summer, woo-hoo! She's got 5 teeth now and is working on 3 more (read - we're not sleeping so much anymore!) She's big into waving now, but doesn't so much say "hi" with a sweet little wave like most babies... It's more like "HI!" with a big hand in the air (which has progressed into giving a "high 5" to everyone, pretty cute!)

She's getting even stronger and is working on her balance. She's a speed-racer on hands and knees and loves to terrorize the pets by crawling around chasing them! She thinks it's hilarious and really gets the belly laughs going when mom or dad plays chase with Abby.

She can stand up now without holding anything and has started taking steps!! AHH!! She's taken as many as 8 now! We don't have any video of that yet, since she always stops whatever she's doing when the camera comes out. We do have a couple of pictures and videos of her standing up, though - enjoy!

Oh, she has also learned an endearing new trick...

Some other fun to share:

Summer has certainly come to GA, in force. We had about 2 days of "spring" when it was really nice and perfect temperatures. Then, WHAM! 90-100 degrees plus the humidity - yey, summer! Stacie's finally out of school, though, so she and Nora are ready for some relaxing and hoping to find some place to swim! Brad is really down to crunch time now! CAUTION: DISSERTATION WRITING IN PROGRESS!!! Soon we'll have to start thinking about the move, but we're not going until sometime towards the end of July, so we'll procrastinate that stress for now! :)

We hope all is well with you all!
