I put my "F, the president" sticker on my car in December. Today my principal told me he has had 6 complaints from parents today. (There was a "gathering" here after school yesterday and my car was still here when in started.) It has gone as far as board members calling the superintendant... all over my sticker. Of course, I'm sure many parents are upset about the anti-Bush message, but my principal was nice about it, saying the reason he thinks it's problematic is because of the "profanity" suggested. (I can see that...) He actually told the superintendant - "Maybe she means that she's grading the president and she's giving him an F" - I love it!

It finally happened
Well, it was bound to happen eventually. It took 5 months.
I put my "F, the president" sticker on my car in December. Today my principal told me he has had 6 complaints from parents today. (There was a "gathering" here after school yesterday and my car was still here when in started.) It has gone as far as board members calling the superintendant... all over my sticker. (I can see that...) He actually told the superintendant - "Maybe she means that she's grading the president and she's giving him an F" - I love it!
So, he said I can think about it and decide what I want to do. I don't want to take it off, but I think I'll remove the "profanity" part and put a different Anti-Bush sticker on there tonight... maybe 3 or 4! :) Junkman's here we come...
