Co-ed group shower

Haha, ok, so the post title may be misleading, but it's true! But let's go chronologically...

Last weekend Stacie took an extremely quick trip to NY to give Sarah a bridal shower. She had a great time with Sarah, of course, and even got to spend a couple of hours with her parents and grandma. It was great to see them and a lot of fun to hang out with Sarah! The shower was fun too - Sarah's family and friends are lots of fun! Brad spent the weekend in FL with his dad and had a great time hanging out too. :)

Brad's parents were here this weekend and we had a good time spending time with them and working on projects. :) It's nice that they're only 5 hours away now!

We had a great time on Saturday night at our co-ed baby shower hosted by Amy and Erin. :) They made it SO nice - grilling out (that even the rain couldn't stop - thanks Cedric!), beer, no "how big is she" game (so they should win some sort of shower-throwing award!), and only brief "almost nudity" prompting an explanation to 2-year old Sophia that the baby in Stacie's belly could not be seen by lifting her dress! :) Thank you to everyone who came and for the amazing gifts. We're really making progress in the nursery and with our other preparations for our little girl. It's so exciting to think that we're just over 2 months away from meeting her face-to-face (yikes!) Stacie is starting to experience the "fun" 3rd trimester symptoms - and Brad too (yey, the return of the mood swings!). We're taking it all in stride, though, and enjoying all the really fun things about this pregnancy. :)

Next weekend Mike and Jenn are coming and we can't wait to see them!! It has definitely been too long! Yey, Mike and Jenn!
